We want to start this update off with a Huge Thank You to all of you amazing Fort Wayne Indoor Supporters. We just wrapped up our 3rd season as the area’s ONLY Indoor BMX & Skate facility!
We started out this season with a COMPLETE rebuild. We literally tore down every single ramp in the building, downsized the park by 4,000 sq ft (now 7,000 sq ft) and ended up with an amazingly fun and cool place to ride. Huge thanks to Brian Leonard for spearheading and spending countless hours at the park during the rebuild (props to Aiden & Jaise Jordan also for their non-stop help)
The season started out well as we are super dependent upon the weather. We opened up the 1st week of November and the cash flow helped get us out of last year’s debt for the 1st few months. We reorganized our pricing structure by adding a $10 Yearly Fee to help offset Insurance, Electric, Gas, etc. By the time February hit, so did 70 degrees and of course folks want to be outside enjoying the outdoors. The remainder of the winter was extremely slow in comparison to the 1st few months.
We rely on a mix of cash flow through-out the year. This time of the year we ask for your help to ensure that this unique facility of ours stays open for our community. Because we are a non-for-profit 501(c)3, all of your donated money can be written off on your taxes for 2018. We are 100% Volunteer and 100% committed to keeping the doors open, here in Fort Wayne, IN. We are always working on new ways and efforts to make the park successful.
Please take a few minutes and donate any amount you can afford; every single dollar goes towards a community of amazing individuals.

We at the Fort Wayne Indoor are excited to bring some local love next Saturday in the form of a catered ALL NIGHT BMX & Skateboard Party that starts at 10pm. We will be blocking off the mini-ramp and a small portion of the flat area to accommodate our Fort Wayne neighbors Bravas Foods as they bring to us a smothered burrito creation for your personal enjoyment. The park will be open to the public tables/chairs and a mini bar serving beers to those over 21 years of age will be available from 10-2am. We also celebrate the birthday of one of our favorite artists and 24 hour code holder, Michael Mankin. Mike is bringing some video game consoles and some proctors to play around with if you do not happen to skateboard or BMX.
This fundraiser allows Bravas Food fans, and fans of beer alike to come check out the Indoor gem we have created right in the heart of the city. The skatepark itself will be open for Skateboarding & BMX Only from 10pm-6am with best trick contests going down at midnight with prizes by another Fort Wayne local favorite, Neat Neat Records on South Calhoun Street. Beer will be served for those patrons over age 21 by your local Main Street Bar Skeletunes Lounge. Come and be a part of this unique city while checking out some talented humans doing stunts.
In case you missed our live broadcast we have the opportunity to view it once again. During the live feed we interviewed many different people about things like building the park, 24 hour access as well as giving you a live view of what it feels like inside the Indoor!

This past month Dan Butler organized a benefit to help out Matt Hanes a Fort Wayne Skateboarder for over 30 years. as well as an overall good friend and contributor to the scenes in and around our local region.
Matt recently discovered that he has a stage 4 Kidney disease and also even more recently had hip replacement surgery (One of Two)
Matt has been off work for nearly 8 months and we are proud to have helped him out by raising enough $$’s to cover a full months mortgage on his house.
Here is a letter Matt sent over, true passion and nothing but love from this amazing human!
Starting this Saturday, January 16th, 2016 the Fort Wayne Indoor is proud to host 3 ALL NIGHTERS! We have decied to open the doors to all sports to enjoy the all night party!

At The Fort Wayne Indoor, we proud to announce that the 2016 season officially starts on Saturday October 17th! We are getting this year’s fun ready by renovating the “Top Room” that will make the park more enjoyable for the smaller ones, and those who favor a bit more street with a ton of great flow inside the room at the park. This new design is no doubt a one-of-a-kind, and a layout that will be ready for everyone to enjoy at the season opener.
We are honored to have the love and support that continues to come out of this fine community.

Brian Leonard, owner of Cannon-Fodder.com, world-renowned skateboard filmer, and designer/builder of many skateparks in both the USA as well as a some parks in Europe is the man behind the scenes for this massive room rebuild. Brian has been working (entirely volunteer) non-stop since September 8th to bring a not only a top-notch course, but a design that will accommodate many aspects of all the different “sports” that use the facility. The design is very creative, eye-catching, and incorporates the use of many different building materials. Steel, Wood, Concrete, & even Dirt is being used to create this new course which is expected to be open for public view / riding on October 17th, 2015 at our 2nd annual Fall Open House! (More info Coming Soon)
The evening of October 17th we plan to show Brian’s latest film “Damage Control” in its entirety. Below is professional Skateboarder, Tim Zom’s part from the movie.

July 19th, 2015 marked the date for the 1st ever “Summit City Rock the Ramp”. A celebration of Action Sports & Local Music just south of downtown Fort Wayne. We had planned this event for over 8 months and it was finally go time! The day started off bright and early as we convoyed all of the ramps and obstacles from the skatepark to our location on the 1800 block of South Calhoun St.
Event planners & volunteers alike were on site shutting down the street with barricades, setting up temporary fencing to outline our location as we set out to do something that had never been done in Fort Wayne, and that was to throw the cities 1st ever Action Sports and Music Festival!
This Sunday on the 1800 block of Calhoun Street, we have a day of family fun like no other in Fort Wayne’s history. A festival that celebrates both Action Sports & Local Music done like no other. $5 dollar entry, OR $10 bucks for the entire family!
We at the indoor are doing whatever it takes to keep the doors open and the bills paid over the slower summer months. We have built a mobile skatepark that will sit downtown to host our 1st ever Skateboard Competition featuring advanced class aged 13+ skaters. The ramps have been built in a manner that we will re-purpose them after the event for use this winter inside the Indoor Skatepark. Who will be the one that will take home the victory at the 1st ever real street contest in the Fort?
The day begins at 2pm when the gate opens with two local DJ’S, Dap One & Fresh Ben who will cut the tracks all afternoon. The official kickoff is at 3pm when we start the festivities off with a high-flying, high action Professional BMX Stunt demo featuring some of the best riders, all from the Hoosier state!
The good time start at 2pm on the 1800 block of South Calhoun Street! Thanks for all the support, Fort Wayne Rocks!
