Today is the day!  The doors open today at Noon and the Contest begins directly at 2pm.  We are set to run 4 classes of pure BMX entertainment.

This is a FREE Event to spectate, donations are encouraged.  Come on out and support you local Indoor Skatepark and cheer on the rad ones! Skateboarding tonight after the BMX contest 6-10pm.

Indiana to Northern California to the hills of North Carolina transplant and super shredder, Miles Cooley will be rolling through the city in the heart of winter to bring the the skateboarding heat and style back to his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

We celebrate the Cooley Classic 2 this winter with a standard session mixed up with a Longest Ollie and Gnar Gnar Challenge! The cost is $10 and the party rages this Thursday at the Indoor!  Mark you Calendars for December 29th and come hang out with your favorite cross-eyed shredder!

As always Miles brings you gifts from Independent Trucks and Creature Skateboards to keep up with Santa during this time of the year, see you all at the Cooley Classic 2!

Ride With PRO BMX’er Bill Nitschke this Friday!

The Fort Wayne Indoor is proud to host a night with a true professional in every way.  Bill Nitschke has just finished up a stellar year by winning the AFA Flatland Series Title in the “Old’s Cool” class after 5 rounds of contests all over the country.  Bill also is a heavy park rider winning contests like the “Battle for Midwest BMX”  and competing flat in the “Trans Jam” series through-out 2016.

Bill set out to perform 22 different Double Decades in his birth month of September.  Bill accomplished this,  and has more goals to knock out in the coming years! Watch the video  below to see his battle with double decades

Bill owns and operates and BMX Freestyle stunt team called WWBMX which travels around the country performing school shows for over 25 years.  Bill preaches to good word of BMX by teaching education through entertainment.  Bill has enriched the lives of so many folks over the years you would be crazy to miss this opportunity to hear, watch, speak and ride the Bill Nitschke!

Dedication and perseverance is what Bill is about and you can see him perform live at the Indoor this Friday Night!

This is one of the 1st edits that features our newly designed park.  Cody Green with Prism Design Company (A Hoosier Based Sock Company) has literally knocked this one out of the park! We could not be more pleased with the way this video turned out. Austin Curry definitely stacks tricks deed, along with his uniquely smooth riding, Austin has his own style.  If you watch this edit enough times, you can actually see the park progressing in the background as they filmed most of this during the construction phase of the new build.

The past holiday weekend at the park was filled a bunch of rad folks who came out on Saturday to support the young and old bucks as we presented our 1st Skateboard contest of this 2017 season, “Skatesgiving” sponsored by national brands, Creature Skateboards & Independent Trucks!

The day began at 2pm with the beginner class taking the course directly at 3:30pm event emcee was Matt Hanes who kept everyone entertained through-out the day.  We hosted 3 classes and everyone who entered skated extremely well.  The vibe was amazing all day long, inside we were cranking out tunes by Metallica, Pantera, and even some Black Sabbath during the contest!

25 folks entered in total and Frank Gray from the Journal Gazette showed up to report the action in Sundays newspaper, Logan Atkinson made the front page of the Metro section. Thanks for the support Frank and the Journal!  Click here to view the write up!
